It was December last year when you sat down in your room and in silence, you thought of what you needed to achieve the following year. It has been a whole year now and you are doing your review and you realize that you barely hit 50% mark on your resolutions. Are you concerned as to what went wrong?
We blame our parents and sometimes we blame life in general. Do we ever want to take blame on anything? I say no. We get into relationship hastily and we forget there is a price to pay in order to be a happy couple. We go to school to study but we assume that our being there alone will bring forth fruits we so desire even without hard work and sacrifices. We live in our parent's house with free food, free education, sometimes with pocket money but we pay back in tantrums and disobedience. Sometimes we quarrel, we gossip, we lie, we fight, we spite, we steal, and we even hate on others for whatever reasons. Then we go to bed unapologetically, assuming that our tomorrow become successful. I have never seen any farmer plant cucumbers and end up harvesting pumpkins.
My dear friends, any action whether it be good or bad, begins with a thought.
