(1) FOCUS : I know we are not all equal and our training is different. Our bio-mechanics, attitude, desire and purpose play a very key role in shaping our focus. I try to never let competition steal my focus
(2) PATIENCE : I have learnt to wait and study the flow of the race before making any move. No middle or long distance race has ever been won at the start. Every move is well calculated and thought of. In case my plan back fires,I do take the responsibility of accepting the outcome.
(3) TOLERANCE TO PAIN : Pain is sometimes inevitable during the race and almost everyone is going through it anyway but it is the athlete with the highest tolerance to pain and one who decelerate the least that wins.
